About Rock Drama:

This piece is called “Rock Drama.” Sedona boasts 300 million years of cliff-hanging (pun intended) geological drama, filled with shifting plates, and erosion. The top layer of sandstone was once part of a desert. The red rocks once existed in an ocean. I wanted this piece to tell the saga of a landscape that rose from deserts and oceans, overcame heat and pressure, and now boasts rock formations and an ecosystem entirely unique to itself.
