My art pours from the moments when my lungs are filled with fresh air and my body is simply a silhouette among oceans and mountains. It is freeing to be alive and anonymous. 

The uninhibited ink figure, known as “Little Dude,” encapsulates the vibrance and ease of the present moment, free from our worldly technologies and distractions. I explore swipes of heavy body acrylic from all angles to decide how Little Dude will interact with the color as a humorously insignificant piece of a larger composition.  

Too often, the past and the future can feel long while the present moment can feel fleeting. My art is a playful testament to the infinite present moment that is always available to us as an escape. Pure bliss.
